International Women's Day function - Dusk on the Deck

Each year we hold an International Women's Day (IWD) celebration on the deck of the Maleny Community Centre in Maple Street, Maleny, between 5:30 and 7:00pm.  Light refreshments and entertainment in a relaxed, social environment are enjoyed by all.  The highlight of the evening is the announcement of the annual Woman of Achievement Award.

 

This event is funded by local sponsorship plus an annual bequest from the Margaret Robinson estate.

 

Woman of Achievement Award

In 2016 we introduced the Woman of Achievement Award.  It is our way of acknowledging women who have served the community for many years, volunteering and offering support and assistance to others less
