Why do women join Zonta?
Our club's membership is drawn from the Blackall Range and environs. It comprises women from all backgrounds.
Being a member puts you in touch with a group of like-minded women who are working to improve the status of women worldwide.
No club would be complete without committees that work on special aspects of fund raising and project work. These meetings are held at times and places to suit the committee members.
All members are assigned to a committee. They include Service, Public Relations & Advocacy, Membership, Scholarship and the Nominating Commitee.
How do I become a member?
We welcome all enquiries regarding membership and suggest that you attend one or two meetings before you commit to join.
To ensure that each person has solid information about Zonta International, Zonta Club of Blackall Range including our projects, fundraising, meeting formats, etc we arrange for a morning tea with the membership committee.
Once you are satisfied that you would like to be part of wonderful team, you submit an application that goes through the procedure of acceptance.
At that stage you will be invoiced for membership; once you have paid a badge is ordered for you and you will be inducted at the first opportunity at a General Meetings.
