EMPOWERING

WOMEN

THROUGH

SERVICE

AND ADVOCACY

Why do women join Zonta?

They want to serve their community

They want to be an advocate for women and girls

They want to expand their knowledge of gender equality issues locally and globally

They want to network with people who share their interests and passion for making a difference

Membership

Our club's membership is drawn from the Blackall Range and environs.  It comprises women from all backgrounds.

Being a member puts you in touch with a group of like-minded women who are working to improve the status of women worldwide.

Committees

No club would be complete without committees that work on special aspects of fund raising and project work.  These committees meet at times and places that suit the committee members.

All Club members are assigned to a committee, which include Service, Public Relations & Advocacy, Membership, Scholarship and the Nominating Commitee.

How do I become a member?

We welcome all enquiries regarding membership and suggest that you attend one or two meetings before you commit to join.

To ensure that each prospective member is well  informed about Zonta International, Zonta Club of Blackall Range including our projects, fundraising, meeting formats, etc we can arrange for a morning tea with the membership committee.

Once you are satisfied that you would like to be part of our wonderful team, your  membership application goes through the procedure of acceptance.

At that stage you will be invoiced for your membership. A badge is then ordered for you and you will be inducted at the first opportunity at a monthly General Meeting.

For all enquiries please email:
