Empowering Women through Service and Advocacy
Our major fundraising activity is the production of the annual Mapleton, Flaxton, Montville Business Directory. This is an invaluable resource connecting residents with businesses and organisations. It is distributed across the Range via local post offices, IGA's, libraries, community centres and real estate offices.

Each year our club packs 1000 Birthing Kits for distribution to remote areas of developing countries.
To raise funds for this activity we seek sponsorship. This can be as little as a few dollars and part of a Mothers Day present.

Every second year we host a morning tea to raise awareness and funds of the Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation.
The foundation has one purpose and one purpose only: eradicating fistula. Forever.

In early 2018, Broken Hill artist Howard Steer generously gave one of his paintings to member Alison Huth for a raffle.
The 900x1200 canvas, called Brush Strokes of the Outback, was framed by Art on Cairncross, and we raised just over $4000.
The lucky winner was Tori Prentis.
The proceeds go to our scholarship fund for a female student.
