Zonta International is a leading global organisation of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy

 

Founded in Buffalo, New York, in 1919, its early members were among the first generation of college-educated women, the first generation of North American women to vote, and a part of the growing, though still comparatively small, legion of women entering the workforce.

 

Today there are 30,000 members in 1200 clubs in 67 countries working together to improve the lives of women and girls.

Zonta Club Blackall Range Inc

Chartered in October 1997, each year our club supports charities and organisations, from local through to international, with the ultimate aim of improving the status of women.  Our club is one of 44 clubs in Zonta International District 22

Held on the third Tuesday of each month at  a restaurant  or a members home across the Range.
